It feels like Vino has been in our (Jim and I) lives forever. This is his story:
On March 1, 2017 we welcomed the newest member of the Batia Family into our home! He is a little doll! His mom is a Golden Retriever and his dad is a white Standard Poodle, thus making him a Golden Doodle! He is a little cutie and is eager to please us...most of the time! The first thing he did was throw up on me on the ride home....Jim thought that was hysterically funny for some reason.
The first night we kept him in our bed with us and he was very happy and slept like a baby all night. The second night he fell between the headboard and the mattress and started crying so Jim picked him up and brought him back to bed, only to have him fall again so we put him in his crate to enjoy the rest of the night. He screamed from 1:30 am to 5am . It was torture! We thought he would cry for 10 or 15 minutes! We were very very wrong!
Fast forward into the future, Vino now spends his weekends entertaining visitors at the tasting room, making new friends and greeting established friends. He spends his weekdays lounging and helping his daddy at the vineyard.
